Instructions are recorded!

Dear Children and Families,

Wash Your Hands!
We have a nasty flu bug going around the school.  Please wash hands regularly, eat healthy food, drink lots of water and stay home if you are sick!

Reminders:
-Please return library books
-This is the last week for home reading book exchange

Important Words:

POWER WORDS:         have put an where would     
These are words we are still learning to read and spell.

ACADEMIC WORDS:         longer  shorter  the same  height  length  
These are words that we are learning to understand the meaning of.

Today:

During math we measured to find items that were longer, shorter and the same as.

Team 72 recorded their instructions today!

We read to self and read to someone today.  We practiced being fluent readers.  We need to REREAD to be fluent readers who read at the right speed and use expression.

Soccer outside for gym is great!

During social studies we talked about weather and jobs in the Atlantic and Prairie communities.

Tomorrow’s Class Leader: Addysin (bring something to share with us that is small and could fit inside Ms MacMillan’s Egg and have 2 clues ready to help us guess what is inside)
